Centre Hastings Park is now smoke-free. The Park Committee bans smoking within the Park in order to protect non-smokers from environmental tobacco smoke. Passive smoking can lead to serious illnesses in adults such as bronchitis, lung cancer, and cardiovascular disease. Children can also develop chest illnesses and asthma from exposure to tobacco smoke. The move to go tobacco-free, including no smoking, snuffing, dipping, or chewing tobacco, upholds the Park Committee's mission to create a healthy family and community friendly environment.

The park is supervised from May to Thanksgiving weekend.
BMX bikes, K2 Inline Skates, and skateboards can be rented for $5/hour
Daily rates on equipment for out-of-town visitors can be arranged at the Canteen
Shirts are now available for sale at the Canteen and Rental Hut.
