The Centre Hastings Skatepark is pleased to announce a summer day camp for children ages 5 – 12. The camp will run for 6 weeks, in one-week sessions beginning July 6th. This camp is an opportunity for your child(ren) to get out, have fun, meet new people, and learn some skateboarding, BMXing, in-line skating, or bike-riding skills.
The camp will include skateboarding, BMXing, in-line skating, water activities, arts and crafts, and various other sports. Your child should be dropped off at the Skatepark at 9 a.m., and picked up at 3 p.m.
We are accepting a maximum of 50 campers per week. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration must include payment in full to be accepted. The cost for camp is:

Lunches are available at the Skatepark for an additional cost of $25 per week per child. Children with food allergies must submit their meal plan at least two weeks before attending camp in order to allow time to change the meal order. Also, the canteen will be open during the week for your child to purchase snacks and drinks (during break times).
Helmets, knee, and elbow pads are mandatory for all children to skateboard, BMX, or in-line skate while at camp. Knee and elbow pads are available at the canteen for your child to purchase. Children should bring their own skateboard, BMX, or in-line skates if they own this equipment and secured storage will be made available at the skatepark for those wishing to leave their equipment for the week. There are a limited number of BMX bikes, in-line skates, and skateboards available for use, as well as helmets and protective pads.
The t-shirt purchase ($10) has been made mandatory in order to avoid excluding children and better promote the park. Please indicate the size of shirt required at time of registration.
